Choir - Trebles and Altos (Sectional Rehearsal)

A sectional rehearsal for the Trebles and Altos of the Full Choir. We learn the notes of the music to be sung with the Tenors and Basses, as well as singing our own bespoke repertoire. We perform in termly concerts as well as the Christmas Carol Service. No audition - all welcome.

CityZen 'Build Your World' (Year 12)

This is a competition run by the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE). It has 2 components:

1) a digital game responding to civil engineering challenges played over 4-6 one-hour sessions; 2) A creative video project for teams to pitch their idea of how civil engineering could be used to improve their local environment. It runs in the autumn and spring terms and provides an insight into the world of civil and structural engineering and urban development. We will have industry mentors from a global structural design engineering consultancy. This is an opportunity to develop teamwork, critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills in a competition to win substantial cash prizes. Ideal for those who want to find out about these types of engineering or urban development.
