Debating Society

The School's Debating Society which meets weekly to host debates and to prepare for participation in external debating competitions.

The Dependent

The Dependent is the school's satirical magazine: think Private Eye, the Daily Mash or TV programmes like Have I Got News for You or Mock the Week. Last year's editions featured articles about 24 Hours of Music, Roadman to Sprezzatura and the chaplain's assemblies, to name a few! There is a preliminary meeting towards the end of the first half-term of each term, which then gives you time to write a piece ready for publication near the end of each term. The first meeting this term will be w/c 14th October! Look out for further details in the weekly bulletin or speak to Mrs Shockley or Miss Trafford.
