Music Theory Club

This club supports all boys preparing to sit an ABRSM Music Theory exam - particularly Grade 5, which is required before being able to enter for a Grade 6 practical exam. Miss Clark is herself an ABRSM examiner, and has published an excellent book which you will use in these sessions. Also essential for those who need to brush up their knowledge for GCSE Music!

Panglossia

Panglossia is an MFL club for our 6th Form, Divs and 5th Form language students who are, or are considering, taking a modern language for A Level. The majority of 6th Formers deliver talks on the topic of their choice either in their target language or a mix of English and the target language, which is also linked to their Individual Research Project and which makes part of their speaking exam. We also invite OMTs and university speakers to give lectures on careers with MFL and on literary works by writers, who raise topics linked to our curriculum. We also host language debates.
