Career Inspirations Tuesday 11 March 2025 8.30am, Merchant Taylors’ School An important part of the support given to the Fourth Form, who are making their GCSE subject selections in the spring, is the opportunity to hear from OMTs about their own exam choices. Our boys really benefit from hearing which subjects were and weren’t important — often myth-busting — and that there are many different routes to finding a dream job. We are seeking OMT volunteers who can come into school to share their career stories.

Ace that Interview! Thursday 16 and Friday 17 January 2025, online Preparing pupils to perform well in interviews is an important part of our Careers education and support programme. This year we are introducing a new Upper Sixth initiative to achieve this and we are recruiting volunteers with experience in interviewing, ideally for internship, graduate or apprenticeship roles. Medicine and Dentistry Convention Saturday 1 February from 10am, Merchant Taylors’ School The Medicine and Dentistry Convention aims to help our aspiring medics and dentists to gain a better insight into the world of medicine and dentistry by hearing from, and speaking to, current medical students and professionals in a range of specialities.
