was very well attended. We and the OMT Society are keen to hear from anyone who would be happy to ‘host’ a pub evening elsewhere in the UK or overseas. Again, not much is required beyond being a point of contact and helping to put some money behind the bar (not yours!). Let us know if you can help. Networking receptions have proved to be as popular as ever. The City and Business Network will continue in 2026. We should like to add different sectors to the programme and may use our new online platform to gauge and build interest in those. As well as being excellent opportunities for OMTs and parents to network, we have found that many attendees kindly put themselves forward to help our current pupils with their future career plans. This support is invaluable: our careers programme relies on our army of volunteers who help at careers conventions, provide advice on universities, give interview practice, come in for bespoke talks — and much more. Our next big convention will focus on entrepreneurship, so if you feel you can help with that, or any aspect of the careers programme, please get in touch and let us know how you would like to be involved. Every year group has produced a really high turnout, and we are always surprised at the high proportion of people who make the effort to come back on one given date in the year. Long may this continue: we aim to replicate the feat of a full set in 2026 and have OMTs in each year who are willing to help raise awareness of events. If you would like to help, please do get in touch. There isn’t much work required from your side as we will manage all the logistics. The dates of each reunion are listed in the forthcoming events section on page 56. As well as reunions, the informal pub evenings have been a hit. The most recent was held in October in London and
