Welcome to our Financial Services Careers Fair. We are hugely grateful to all the individuals and organisations who have come together to support our event and share their experience and wisdom with the next generation. The exhibitors at the Fair are looking forward to talking to students about a wide range of different career areas including accounting, banking, financial planning, tax,insurance, investments, pensions, fintech and policy, as well as different pathways including degrees and apprenticeships. Alongside the ‘Marketplace’ in The Great Hall and the Exam Hall, there will be two special interest talks taking place in the Lecture Theatre at 6pm and 6.30pm. One talk will explore the world of investment banking and the other will provide insight into the apprenticeship route within Financial Services. We hope the evening will help the many MTS pupils who express a desire to work in the world of Financial Services but may not yet have a wide understanding of the scope of the roles or the educational pathways available, find out valuable information and insight to further their own career thinking. We could not run our careers programme without all the enthusiastic volunteers who take part in our programme of short talks, wider school events and targeted online encounters. On Tuesday 13th February we will be hosting a ‘Careers in STEM Fair’.
