GCSE Options
Pupils must maintain their performance levels outside of the GCSE lessons (through games activities or clubs) across the 2 years of study. Practical assessment for GCSE will be ongoing over the 2 years and then final mark submission is conducted in late spring/early summer term in the Fifth Form. A short piece of written coursework will be completed immediately after their trials in 5th form. You do not need to have studied Sports Science at 4th form to study it at GCSE. Please note, that it is essential that if you are unsure if you meet the practical performance requirements that you have a conversation with Mr Davies and Dr Evans before making your choices to discuss your suitability for the course.
