Music Week 2024 Wednesday 26th June Choral Evensong 5:45pm, Guildford Cathedral

The Chamber Choir sing a traditional Anglican service of Choral Evensong, including settings of the canticles by C. V. Stanford, the centenary of whose death we commemorate this year. The psalm chant is composed by W. H. Havergal, an OMT clergyman and composer. The finest musicians in the Fourth Form and the Divisions compete to win this year’s Intermediate Music Competition. The result will also determine the result of the 2024 House Music Competition. Visiting Adjudicator: to be confirmed.
