Welcome to the MTS and RMS STEM Careers Fair. We are excited to be hosting the first joint Careers Fair between MTS and RMS and we are hugely grateful to all the individuals and organisations who have come together to support our joint venture and share their experience and wisdom with the next generation. The exhibitors at the Fair are looking forward to talking to students from both schools about a wide range of different career areas within STEM including civil, mechanical and aerospace engineering, satellite technology, construction, data science, artificial intelligence, software development, sustainability, intellectual property, logistics, pharmaceuticals, scientific and medical research, entrepreneurship, legal tech, technical marketing and more. The main marketplace fair opens at 5.30pm in the Great Hall and Exam Hall. For those who are interested in engineering specifically, there is a talk about “engineering futures” from Professor Peter Childs (OMT) who works at Imperial College, at 5pm in the Dining Hall. We hope the evening will help MTS and RMS students who enjoy STEM subjects to find out valuable information about the many exciting roles and educational pathways available to further their own career thinking. We very much look forward to seeing you for what we hope will be an informative and inspiring occasion. Please do look out for our post-event survey as we would very much welcome constructive feedback to inform future events.
