improved player was deservedly won by Peter Nedeljkovic, whose total commitment shone through; his understanding of the game developed greatly as the season progressed. Finally, the outstanding player of the season went to Theo Hancock, who assisted many tries as well as scoring a few himself, including the crucial try against Reading Blue Coat. He also took over the captaincy from Edward whenever required. Mr S. de Weymarn Squad: H. Adebisi, D. Ashton, A. Bahanda, M. Bartlett, J. Bindra, A. Brown, R. Carruthers Hintze, M. Christie, F. U15C Overall, the U15C team had a successful season, scoring 154 points and only conceding 77, which led to four wins from five matches played. Plenty of touch rugby practice in training meant that handling was our strongest area; the boys always made fewer mistakes than their opponents and were adept at spreading the ball into space to break the line. Our defence was also impressive, with brave tackling shown by Viv Verma, Kabir Patel, Oscar Frenchman, Xander Aguado and Reeyen Ruparelia. The

standout player this season was Oscar, with his talismanic presence and try scoring ability. Xander Aguado and Reece Vecci shared the captaincy and should be commended for their tireless work ethic and brilliant decision-making respectively. The player who made the most progress was George Turner, who started the season with little experience of the game but whose enthusiasm and can-do attitude meant that he ended up playing in whatever position we required, including prop, hooker, second row and in the backs. Several players progressed enough to take places in the B team. My most enduring memory of the season was highly comedic: in the first of two matches against Mill Hill, Adi Singh kept losing his boot but nonetheless managed to score three tries barefoot. The team demonstrated good sportsmanship and determination in all their matches, which will serve them well in future seasons. Mr B. J. Waterhouse Squad: Y. Ahmed, C. Apps, X. Aguado, R. Bains, R. U15B The Under 15Bs had a hugely successful season, winning six and narrowly losing only two of their fixtures against strong opposition. The season started promisingly with convincing victories against Watford Grammar School, London Oratory and Mill Hill. MCS Oxford provided a stern test, although the boys prevailed with a 24-17 victory before a scrappy one-point win against Reading Blue Coat under the lights of Rugby Week. Following a strong triumph over Richard Hale School, the boys tasted defeat for the first time against Reed’s school, losing by a single try. This was then followed by another agonisingly close defeat at the hands of St Albans. Unfortunately, the final game of the season was cancelled due to snow and freezing weather. The boys have all developed over the course of the term, and several made the step-up to represent the A team. This also meant that boys from the Cs were able to move up to the Bs. Those that did more than held their own, with many making telling contributions. Special mention should go to Edward Greenaway, who captained the side exceptionally well, going about his business quietly but setting a great example for the rest of the players.
