I am a first year medical student at UCLMS with current interests in Cardiothoracic Surgery. This year I am fortunate to be part of the UCL Surgical Society Committee as well as the Cardiology Subcommittee. Whilst also enjoying my medical studies I have continued my interests in Art, Drama and Rowing at university. Balancing my preclinical years with work as a HCA at the Royal Free Hospital has been extremely rewarding. I hope to continue with equal enthusiasm for the next 6 years!

Yuvraj Juttla

I joined Merchant Taylors’ School in September 2015, and left as a monitor in 2022. I am a current 3rd year medical student, studying at University College London (UCL). I have completed my preclinical studies, and am currently pursuing an Intercalated Degree in Cardiovascular Sciences. In addition this, I recently won the Wolfson Foundation Scholarship to fund my dissertation research, where I am exploring the effects of the Novel Drug, UCL-TRO-1938, on various cardiac cell types. I have a special interest within the field of Cardiology, in addition to understanding the effect Artificial Intelligence has on the future of medicine!
