Gilbert Murray Society (Senior Classics)

Each member of the Classics department will be giving a special lecture on their area of expertise during the year. This term, expect to hear from Mr Gazeley on the murk of medieval Classics, and from Mr Hedges-Robinson on the meta-poetics of Catullus. Strongly recommended for Classics applicants; other arts students (and staff) very welcome.

Guitar Ensemble

The Guitar Ensemble gives classical guitarists the opportunity to develop ensemble skills, explore ensemble repertoire and perform with other guitarists in Informal and Chamber Concerts throughout the year. Open to classical guitarists of all ages and abilities.

Hansard Society

A weekly group to discuss politics including social issues and parliamentary matters. Want to know what the cost of living crisis is and what it means for us? Do you just want to understand how the government works? This is the place to find out and discuss!
