Tony Booth, Paul Caira, Kamaljit Bain, Chris Roseblade, Ian Middleton, John Coleman, John Pallant and Michael Illing. Our final large-scale event of the summer was the Recent Leavers’ Barbecue. Over 150 OMTs and parents attended our annual lunch which coincided with OMT Rugby Club Day, providing the opportunity to run off the burger and beers! If you would like the Development Office to help organise a reunion for your year group, please get in touch – we would love to help. In early November, we were excited to host a groundbreaking event for the Julian Hill Indoor Cricket Centre for individuals without whose support the cricket centre dream would not have become a reality. This is a hugely important project for the school which not only develops an already excellent cricket provision but will allow us to provide bursarial support for boys in the future through income from lettings (read more on pages 46 and 47). In November, we hosted our biennial Medicine and Dentistry Convention which was bigger than ever. Our aspiring Medics and Dentists gained insights from Professor Roger Kirby, President of the Royal Society of Medicine, as well as a host of specialists in the fields of Urology, Oncology, Paediatrics, Cosmetic Surgery, Psychiatry, Orthodontics, and from five undergraduates and a junior doctor. We are incredibly fortunate to have such supportive alumni and parents, not only for this event, but others such as University Choices and Careers Inspiration as well as so many more bespoke careers and curriculum extension talks. The OMT Society has continued to host their range of dinners in the regions and London. Most recently, the OMT Annual Dinner was held at the Honourable Artillery Company, with 175 OMTs in attendance. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in our events programme this year!
