New Online Platform In early 2026 the Development Office will launch its new website and online platform. Since 2013 our website has hosted an integration with our database, which has enabled OMTs to search for fellow alumni through the OMT Directory or find OMTs who can provide careers advice through the Careers Directory, which lists over a thousand alumni volunteers. While we regularly hear stories of OMTs finding success with the latter, from meeting fellow OMTs for advice over coffee to securing internships and full-time roles through the alumni network, the service has been quite limited — and, dare we say, rather basic. Our new platform, about which we will provide more details soon, will enable far greater levels of interaction between alumni and with the School itself. At a basic level, a global directory of OMTs who have agreed to share their details is available. Beyond that, there will be a mentoring platform that will enable OMTs to sign up as mentors, mentees or both, and filter for possible connections in relevant sectors and with appropriate experience levels. The platform will then facilitate the mentoring relationships, ensuring that mentors are not overwhelmed with too many requests for help, for example, and allowing us to identify and address any gaps in support. Messaging between alumni can be done within the platform, until such point

that you wish to share an email address or phone number. We believe that the mentoring platform will provide significantly greater support and foster more fulfilling interactions for career and personal development. If there is enough interest from alumni, we may also introduce a business directory and job board. Away from the professional, if you have a year-group reunion approaching and wish to rally support, share memories or photos or discuss plans for the event, there will be online spaces available. Maybe you are particularly interested in the history of the School and its archives; a space to interact with the Archivist and fellow OMTs with similar interests will be available to you. When it comes to more prosaic matters like booking tickets for a forthcoming event, not only will that be possible through the platform but we hope it will be a more intuitive and smoother process for you. Early in 2026 we will email you with a link to your profile on the site where you will be able to ‘claim’ and update details and preferences before exploring all it offers. We encourage you to sign up and to return regularly: when you first visit, you may be among the earliest, so the content and the community will only just be getting going. Over time, we hope and expect it to be a thriving and lively online community where you can develop deeper connections with your fellow alumni around the world.
