Tim Harris (1984-1989) On 12th December 2021, Tim Harris and his friend, Simon Calver set off from the Canary Islands in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. Rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic unassisted in their Rannock R25 ocean rowing boat, The Mindcraft; they are raising awareness and funding for Stem4. Before setting off Tim said: “We're supporting Stem4, in particular as one of my oldest friend's sons took his own life last year at the age of 14. They are a small app based charity packing a mighty punch. Their apps have now been downloaded over 2 million times and from the feedback received have been instrumental in preventing a huge amount of self-harm. As for us, there are so many emotions flooding through us. Mostly excitement but tempered a with healthy dose of nerves. Having been training for almost 2 years now we're impatient to get going.
