John Jo Hammill (MTS Parent)

Self-employed Construction Project and Development Director

John Jo is a chartered civil and structural engineer who has delivered projects and capital programmes worldwide, ranging from stadia to railway stations and luxury hotels. He was sponsored by Arup through his gap year and at Cambridge, as well as being awarded an Institution of Civil Engineers’ Queen’s Scholarship. After completing his professional qualifications at Arup, he worked at Mace and then a development management company. His career has taken him to live in Milan, Singapore and Doha, Qatar. John Jo uses his engineering skills to provide strong technical and commercial management and a focus on sustainability and safety to the projects that he delivers.

Deborah Phethean (MTS Parent)

German and Italian, University of Birmingham

UKI Lead, SuccessFactors Marketing at SAP

Deborah works in technical marketing. She works for SAP, the world's largest provider of Enterprise Application Software (SAP customers generate 87% of total global commerce). Deborah’s remit is currently in Field and Demand Generation Marketing (ie not Brand or Advertising). She has a background in communications strategy (Advertising and Media Agencies) and has also worked for a SaaS Start-up. Deborah is involved in recruitment for their annual intern cohort and is happy to talk about this.
