parents much-needed respite and us a unique opportunity to inspire and support accessibility. Our fundraising calendar kicked off with Friday Night Lights: we dished out pizzas and Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and blasted out songs over the speakers to satisfy the crowds that had come to support the rugby. The atmosphere was electric. The seasonal PHAB favourite, Candy Canes, occupied not only the minds of many merry students and teachers, but also much of the prime poster real estate along the corridors. All in all, hundreds of candy canes were swapped between MTS and STHN and put everyone in a festive spirit. The marathon walk was one of the most challenging things we have ever done as a team. The 26.3 miles were long, tiring, and gruelling at times, but we knew that every step we took was raising money towards an excellent cause. final night topped the lot as fancy outfits were donned and the hall was decorated with balloons, lights and all manner of other accessories. ‘DJ Rash’ Palmer, re hired after his performance at the Revue, ensured it was a night to remember as we all piled onto the dance floor. Throughout the week, five groups rotated between the various activities offered, which included high ropes, rafting, caving, archery, abseiling and climbing. A particular highlight for our group was the high ropes, which encouraged many to overcome their fears and take the leap of faith. During our downtime, we enjoyed the run of the centre, participating in arts and crafts, table tennis, football, karaoke, and Mario Kart. In the evenings, everyone would join in with a whole-group activity. This kicked off on Monday with a Toy Story movie night on the big screen, while Tuesday saw us head outside for an evening by the campfire, during which we sang songs and ate our bodyweight in marshmallows. Karaoke followed on Wednesday, but the
