Careers

L ast year, one of the careers of pupils and parents engaged online with OMTs. This year, we went a step further and held our inaugural MTS Arts and Humanities Careers Fair during National Careers Week. The Great Hall was filled for much of the evening with several hundred pupils and parents hoping to glean wisdom, insight and advice from OMTs and other guests about possible career paths. Our aspiring medics and dentists were thrilled to hear from a large group of volunteer speakers who joined us in November for the biennial Medicine and Dentistry Convention. We were honoured that Professor Roger Kirby, President of the Royal Society of Medicine, was able to join us to give the keynote talk on the future of the industry, exploring new technological developments that will change the lives of doctors, dentists and patients alike.
