The Dependent

The Dependent is the school's satirical magazine: think Private Eye, the Daily Mash or TV programmes like Have I Got News for You or Mock the Week. Last year's editions featured articles about usingless@MTS, exams, Senso and toxic caterpillars, to name a few! There is a preliminary meeting towards the end of the first half-term of each term, which then gives you time to write a piece ready for publication near the end of each term. The first meeting this term will be w/c 20 th May! Look out for further details in the weekly bulletin or speak to Mrs Shockley or Miss Trafford.

DET Open Workshop Y13

Y13 have the opportunity to use the workshop to work on their Non-Examined Assessment (NEA) coursework with the support of DET staff.

DET Scholars

DET scholars will have an opportunity to use the workshop to work on a variety of Engineering projects to extend their DET experience.
